Dakar Audio Club are an AFROFUSION BAND playing an uplifting West African Mashup of Soukous , Reggae , Desert Blues and Highlife and are a big festival favourite. Genre transcending ..A mix of traditional Malian Blues ,Soukouss , Highlife and Reggae but also modern sounds.. in a nutshell inspired by the sounds you would hear on a crackly transistor radio walking the streets of Dakar , Lagos or Banjul. Sam Evans- For over 7 years, Sam has been ‘on tour’ playing nearly 1000 gigs across the UK & Europe. He’s supported world-class musicians from chart-toppers Toploader to reggae music’s rising star Mike Love, performed at the UK’s top festivals and frequently secures headline shows in Bristol’s best music venues with his band Verdisa. “Super catchy tunes delivered with a soulful verve that’s simply infectious.” – Dave Henderson, Williams Green Stage at Glastonbury Sam writes and performs his own music which blends reggae, folk, jazz, blues (and more) with a genuine message of harmony, drawing influence from artists including Xavier Rudd, Jack Johnson & Jason Mraz.

More recently Sam has started playing gigs with his father-in-law, brother-in-law and friend (Jon Parry) in pubs across Somerset with The Sheriff. They perform Irish, bluegrass and blues music!
