Hello 2020!

We’re kicking off our third year of Bristolian bars once again at our favourite coffee house, Boston Tea Party. Expect another lineup full of local and national talent with a range of genres from Boom Bap to Trip Hop to Grime, all under one, small, intimate coffee shop roof.

☕️ In’ovative

Head honcho of ZenSay, In'ovative is hailing all the way from Kent in order to carry out his royal duties of tearing up the stage 🌪 Describing his music as bouncing between uplifting Jazz Hop and the darker tones of Trip Hop, In’ovative surely lives up to his name, and with an array of EPs and albums under his belt, he’s going nowhere but up. Make sure to check out his most recent album, “Colour of the Sky” featuring the likes of Lazy Eyez and Dvine MC, if you haven’t already!

☕️ Riski

ITS THE R-I-S-K-I! The one, the only. Surrrreeely you all know who he is by now? He’s got the tongue-in-cheek bars with a style unlike any other; Boom bap meets grime meets trip-hop meets all that is good in the world. The kid's an absolute genius and somehow no matter how many times we see him, we still find ourselves bouncing up and down with the finger guns 👉 Make sure to check the beauty of Riski business if you haven’t already. Check his track “Nicotine” or have a gander at “Somnambulent” from Dr Syntax & Pete Cannon’s album, Wallop, to get a taste of what you’re in for.

☕️ The Ant Hill Mobb

A group comprised of absolute madness! Made up of Mick Swagger, George Bucks and Cosm, there’s nothing stopping these lot. Despite the group being newly formed, the members within it are a true definition of UK Hip Hop and a beautiful encapsulation of the scene, meaning it’d truly be a shame to miss the rise of The Ant Hill Mob. Keep an eye out for their EP coming soon, produced by Michall Parknsun - it’s gonna be HUGE.

☕️ Quantum Collective

A Boom Bap Supergroup comprised of some absolute KILLER MCs from Bristol, including the likes of Dr1ver, Jonny Dart and Spazz D. They’re here to bring the fire, spitting straight nitro and armed with a selection of producers as well, there’s no way this lot can disappoint. The group may be a recent addition to the Bristol scene, but the members within it are far from being noobs.

☕️ Open Mic w Spazz Dele

The Floridian MC-Producer human hybrid, Spazz D, is back again for his THIRD time on Open Mic duties - and we cannot wait! Expect some calm & collected tunes, monumental instrumentals and boppy beats for this one. And most of all, polish up on your bars and GRAB THAT MIC 🎤 No need to sign up, just come along and take the mic when you’re ready 💥

All Earlybird and First Release tickets are now sold out! Grab a Final Release before they're gone - tickets will be £8 on the door.
